About the Role
At Zephyr Technologies, we design and deliver innovative, high-performance electronic solutions tailored to our clients’ needs. As a Senior Electronics Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading complex design projects, from concept to prototype testing, ensuring quality, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
This is a senior-level position for an experienced engineer with a solid background in PCB design, firmware development, and IoT solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including field application engineers, logistics, and sales—to deliver complete solutions that meet customer requirements. The role offers significant autonomy, the ability to work remotely, and the opportunity to collaborate on high-impact projects across Mexico and internationally.
Responsibilities
Design and develop printed circuit boards (PCBs)
Create and review electronic schematics
Develop and test firmware for embedded systems
Prepare technical documentation, including datasheets and BOMs
Perform component testing and validation
Assemble and evaluate prototype boards
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver engineering solutions on time and within budget
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering (10+ years of experience)
Advanced English proficiency (minimum B2 level)
Proven experience in BOM generation and management
Hands-on experience or knowledge in IoT, Altium, and MCU programming
Availability to travel (valid passport required; U.S. visa preferred)
Must own a vehicle
